What is this site about?
The Entertainment Economy Institute is a ten-year old initiative to respond to the current and future workforce needs of all segments of the entertainment industry
It aims to strengthen the economy and the lives of current and future entertainment workers.
For the last several years, EEI has been conducting the most expansive and accurate study ever performed on the economics of the entertainment industry.
The initial results are now complete, and this site provides:
- Dynamic querying of some of this original data
- The ability to generate maps on filming activity in Los Angeles
- Links to other reports and data sources
- Answers to common questions
- Links to timely articles
- Links to resources such as associations, unions, guilds, directories, and trade journals
